here’s another example of what’s wrong with music journalism and the internet. some idiot at ‘contact music’ wrote an article about the ‘morose singer,’ morrissey getting set to revamp his image for an upcoming album. it goes on to mention that he is “best known for tracks including girlfriend in a coma and you have killed me .” i am quite sure that when people think of il mozzalini, neither of those songs are the first that come to mind; though in writing an article to explain how ‘morose’ he is they might. after discussing with motu, we both agreed that please please please let me get what i want, suedehead, i know it’s over, heaven knows i’m miserable now, and how soon is now? are probably his saddest songs, and also much more well known than the two the ‘journalist’ mentioned.
