somebody i think from the heinz group once remarked that in selling items like ketchup and salad dressing it wasn’t the amount that the consumer used, but rather how much that came out of the bottle that would contribute to overall profits and that person was right…until now. if you ever watch people pouring condiments on their food you will notice that they always use too much and most of it ends up not on the food they are eating. many times in my family, especially with ketchup i notice that a good portion of it ends up on big al’s shirt. with that in mind, i was delighted to discover this new salad spritzer from wish-bone that enables one to cover their salad with dressing and not end up throwing away most of the dressing when finished. it comes in several flavors and in a seven ounce bottle (as opposed to the standard sixteen ounces), but claims on the labeling to cover more salad than the sixteen ounce bottle. of course this is great for wish-bone because they are now providing nine less ounces of dressing per bottle while charging the same amount. i really can’t believe they didn’t come up with this years ago.
